Find A Job With Online Job Websites
With the way the economy is right now it is very difficult to find a job. For anyone who has recently been laid off or otherwise in search of a job, online job websites are a new tool that can greatly aid your search. They basically work by allowing companies in your area to post job listings so that you can find who is hiring. Often times you can even apply from the comfort and convenience of your own home. This is probably the most efficient method for chasing down new job leads currently available. If you are a job seeker then check out one of these websites:
Carrershop.com
Careershop.com is a great source for finding a job on the Internet. While it is not the most user friendly website around it caters heavily to the businesses who post on it. Therefore, in many instances, it will have far more listings in your area than other job sites. It is recommended that you check out this site first for job listings in your immediate area.
Hotjobs.com
Hotjobs.com is one of the best resources for the job seeker as it is extremely user friendly and loaded with helpful features. The search feature is phenomenal with an ability to search by job category, description, and most importantly location. It even includes a helpful tool that automatically stores your previous searches so you don't have to start over each time. It includes a couple other features such as marking a job as 'saved' so that was one click you can come back to it in the future and also a resume feature where you can literally upload your resume and let potential employers seek out and contact you.
TrueCareers.com
Truecareers.com is a great middle of the line job listing website. The fact of the caters heavily to both the employer and job seeker makes it a great place to use. You can upload your resume and let employers seek you out or browse through current job openings in your area. It even has a feature where you can browse by businesses instead of job titles if you have an idea of a larger company you wish to work for. The final reason that this website is so great is that they offer assistance to smaller business owners in creating listings which provides you with a large number of small businesses seeking employees that would not otherwise be on the Internet.
One important thing to note for finding a job with any online job website is that you will want to have a solid resume. Most all of these websites allow you to upload a resume and many businesses will even allow you to apply online by sending them a copy of your resume. If you do not have a strong resume a simple Internet search can easily yield great templates and advice on resume building.
An additional option for finding a job online with job websites is to try a simple search in the search engine for 'yourarea jobs'. Often this will bring up a leading job website that caters specifically to your larger metropolitan area. Many job postings may be found here that do not exist on other larger sites.
Best of luck to you on your job hunt. Hopefully you have learned how to more efficiently find a job by utilizing online job websites.

How do you write an email regarding job vacancy?
I'm not sure if this organization (airlines) I want to work for has a vacancy or not. So, I just wanted to send an email asking if there is one. I want to give them a good impression. So, how do you write it?
PS: I'm a first year university student looking for a work placement for next year but since I have 3 months off this summer, I want to try working there prior to the actual placement.
